I traveled while reading your accounts and was completely overwhelmed by your descriptions of the places, people, and mostly the history. My heart skipped a beat when I read that you were reading “The Middle Passage” while you were on the Middle Passage, I was also excited because I had to read that novel when in grad school, and I most definitely liked it. To say “you rock” would be an understatement (although I think I say that to you a lot). Can’t wait for posts to come. Besos!
